Personality: An optimistic, kind, and cheerful young man, Phichit is affable and almost impossible not to love. He cares very deeply for his friends, and has very simple dreams of making it as far as he can in his skating career with his loved ones by his side. But don't let his friendly demeanor fool you; when the time for competition comes, Phichit's ambition makes him a formidable enemy on the ice. When he's not busy skating, and sometimes even when he is, Phichit always has his smartphone in hand, ready to take selfies and photos of anything and everything that stays still long enough for his camera to capture. He's a social media fiend who can't help but share everything online to his many, many followers. Though he's a great friend, you might want to think twice before trusting him to keep your juicy secrets ;) Truly supportive and full of love to give, Phichit's ultimate goal includes watching his friends succeed alongside him. He remains optimistic and playful even when situations get tough. When he's not skating or training for skating, which includes exercise and dance practice, Phichit is often taking seflies, so he knows how to make himself and others look good, and how to keep people interested in seeing what he has to post. Reason for Joining: Phichit happened upon the carnival while he was wandering the streets, looking for excitement; he fell in love with the place nearly at first sight. It was lively, and though it was dangerous, he felt the danger was worth it for the magic that seemed to surround everything and everyone there. So when he was caught peeking into a private tent and subsequently required to spend the next year there, rather than be disappointed, Phichit was excited! (Especially upon finding out that his family wouldn't have to miss him at all.) SAMPLES↴ Phichit & Yuuri – hurt/comfort meme Phichit & Yuuri – texts from last night Phichit was wandering the streets Bangkok, letting the smells of the street food cooking and the glow of the bright neon lights wash over him as he walked down an unfamiliar street in his own hometown; he'd lived in Thailand for most of his life, except for the time he spent training in America, but there was still so much he hadn't seen, and he was craving some wonder, some excitement, something new. He almost didn't notice the small alley tucked away between two tall buildings, but when he walked past it, something stopped him from going on. He peered into the alley, expecting trash and perhaps a few stray cats, but it was dark; there was only a pinprick of light off in the distance. The dissonance was eerie, but it only made Phichit curious; sure, this was more of a red-light district than anything, but for an alley to have no light in it at all was fascinating to him. The light didn't seem to be coming any closer, even as Phichit walked toward it; then, all at once, an entire vista opened up in front of him. It was a carnival, familiar to him from movies and books and festivals he'd been to in his life. He delightedly paid the entry fee, his selfie-stick that had intrigued the person in the booth, and entered the carnival with butterflies in his belly. He walked past many of the games, wondering which, if any, he had a good chance of winning, before the fluttering of a tent flap caught his attention. Unable to help himself, Phichit stepped up to it and peered inside to see what was happening inside-- |
